"For the English speaking student who is interested in improving the knowledge of the application of graphic design software Photoshop, I can personally attest that the Computer Academy is an excellent place to start, having take the full series of Intro to Photoshop and Advanced Photshop courses at this training school.,
Firstly, I found Eric to be a gifted instructor, in that he is not only very knowledgeable about the software which he teaches, because is very skilled at conveying his hands on knowledge of the application of Photoshop to solve problems in the use of photographs in design work. Classes at the Computer Academy tend to be fairly small, creating an ideal environment for receiving a lot of personalized instruction. Furthermore, Eric proved to be willing to adjust the pace of the class to match the learning needs of individual students and to provide a good deal of individualized explanation, when teaching applications which involve mutliple steps in order to master correctly Another positive feature of the Computer Academy is that rather teaching rigidly, according to a textbook, Eric adopted a relaxed approach, taking questions from students and allowing their curiousity about certain applications and features of the software to drive the teaching experience, while still managing to cover nearly all of Photoshop's main capabilities.
Eric displayed his own mastery of Photoshop, when, in the Advanced Photoshop class, some of the students posed questions about Photoshop applications which actually represent difficult problems in design. Very impressively, Eric managed to draw upon what is obviously his own extensive experience in using the software in real graphic design applications to solve these non-standard problems, and in a creative and interesting manner as well.
The location of the Computer Academy, in Mongkok, Kowloon is very convenient, as is situated in right on Nathan Road and in close proximity to the Argyle street Exit of the MTR."
